BLOG

When you are planning your wedding, it can be hard to sort out the trends that you should ignore and the trends that you should wholeheartedly embrace. When it comes to your plans, you should make sure you prioritize the things you enjoy, but there are some trends that will make your wedding perfect.

A Separate Reception Dress

Many brides have started buying two dresses for their wedding, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. This may be a newer trend, but definitely one that you should consider. Having two dresses can allow you to express different parts of your personality. A reception dress can also allow you to have the fancy dress of your dreams while still partying to your heart’s content. Wedding dresses are often heavy, so it can make it difficult to dance the way you want to. Your second outfit doesn’t even have to be a dress. There are some amazing pantsuits and jumpers that are becoming popular that can look absolutely amazing.

Wedding Photo Booths

Wedding favors and traditional visitor books are losing popularity and being replaced with more creative options. If you want to remember the people who come to your wedding and give them a great picture to post on social media, wedding photo booths are a great way to accomplish both of them. Depending on what you want, there are a variety of photo booths you can choose from and they can print photos and email them to you or your guests. You can also choose fun props that they can use to take fun photos. Photo Booths can be rented for the timeframe that you need easily.

All the Flowers

Flowers have always been a part of the wedding, but they are quickly taking over the decorations in the best way possible. While this can be a bit of a splurge for your wedding, flowers make an amazing backdrop for your special day, and you can often take a lot of them home to enjoy for a little while after. Wedding arches made of flowers can frame your ceremony and the bridal table is perfect. You can also use flowers as centerpieces for the tables. Just make sure that you are choosing the right flowers for your wedding. Flowers bloom and are available in different seasons, so if you have a specific flower you want, you may need to choose the right time of year.

Even if it isn’t on trend, make sure you choose things that you and your partner will enjoy at your wedding. This isn’t about what other people think. This is about celebrating your marriage and the love you have for each other.
