05 Aug Wedding Planning at Work (Without Getting Caught)
Let’s face it, finding wedding planning time is no easy feat. Couples in 2015 spend about 15 hours a week planning their wedding, and that’s bound to cut into some of your time at the office. We’ve figured out how you can plan your wedding at work and still get your ‘real’ work done too!
Corresponding with vendors during the work day is an under-the-radar way to plan. 77% of couples prefer to use email when communicating with a vendor. If you’re able to access your personal email at work it’s an easy way to confirm pricing, set up tastings, and schedule appointments without your boss noticing! (our email is [email protected]…You welcome!)
50% of couples plan from their desktop. Lucky for you Mystical has different outlets can use for planning and inspiration! Stay organized with a virtual checklist, track your spending, or build your guest list and track RSVPs! The options are endless for online planning and it all can be easily hidden behind other work-related tabs. Check out our Pinterest and email us about what’s on your ‘To-Do’ list so we can help check off some of them!

Read vendor contracts
Nothing looks more professional than pulling up a PDF with a small font that’s multiple pages long. Take this time to read every word of the contracts your vendor sends you. Before you sign it, make sure to share with your S.O. and make a list of questions you may have. If something seems off, don’t hesitate to ask! It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Good luck planning and know that we’re here to help!
