About Gianfranco “John” – Bilingual Italian MC and Founder of Mystical Entertainment Group

Gianfranco, known to his clients and friends as John, is the heart and soul behind Mystical Entertainment Group, a premier event and wedding entertainment company in the Tri-State area. With a passion for music and entertainment that began at the age of 12, John’s journey started when he helped a middle school teacher DJ an event. From that moment, he was captivated by the industry and dedicated himself to mastering his craft.

Over the years, John gained invaluable experience working with both large and small entertainment companies across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Attending trade shows, seminars, and networking with industry experts helped him fine-tune his skills and develop a vision for an entertainment company that would redefine the client experience. That vision became a reality in 2001 when John founded Mystical Entertainment Group during his senior year of high school.

As a bilingual Italian MC, John brings a unique and sought-after skill set to the industry. Fluent in Italian, he specializes in hosting Italian weddings and events, seamlessly blending Italian traditions with modern entertainment. His ability to transition effortlessly between English and Italian ensures that every guest feels included and engaged. John also has a deep appreciation for music as an art form, expertly meshing genres to create unforgettable moments on the dance floor.

We are still getting compliments on how good our DJ was, so safe to say we are so happy we booked with Mystical Entertainment!!! John and his team were incredible. In our finals meeting with John, he looked at our playlist and said “oh I know your vibe” and day of, he sure proved that!! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire time having so much fun. They read the room, quickly switched the music for the chorus of a song, and never let it be boring! I even had a Hungarian portion put together that he easily weaved into the night that it didn’t seem awkward or a hard switch into another genre. We also had a photobooth through them that had no hiccups and our scrapbook from the night was so nice to look back at. We highly recommend ME!!!
