What Is an LED Poster Display?
Basically, it's a freestanding LED screen built in the shape and footprint of a poster — 6'9" tall and 4'2" wide opened flat, folding down to just 2'1" wide. It stands on its own wheels, plays full-motion video instead of holding a printed graphic, and goes wherever a sign would normally go.
The difference is what happens after setup. A printed sign is locked in the moment it goes to the printer. A poster display isn't — content changes on cue throughout the night, and if a detail changes the week of your event, you swap the file instead of paying for a rush reprint.
What Clients Use Them For
Trade Show Displays
A moving display pulls booth traffic that a printed banner walks past. Fold it dual-sided to catch aisle traffic from both directions, and change the message by the hour. See our trade show production.
Digital Wedding Seating Charts
An animated LED seating chart instead of a printed board — and when your count changes five days out, fixing it costs nothing. It photographs cleanly too, so it works as a design element rather than just a utility. Explore our wedding entertainment.
Corporate Awards Ceremonies
Put each honoree's name and photo on screen as they walk up, then change it for the next award. No stack of printed boards backstage. Pairs with our corporate event production.
Welcome & Wayfinding Signage
Entry signage, room directions, agenda boards, and schedule displays that update themselves as the day moves through its blocks.
Sponsor & Brand Moments
Rotate sponsor logos so every tier gets real screen time, or run branded content at a brand activation or product launch.
Step-and-Repeat Alternative
A moving backdrop beside your photo moment gives guests something better to stand next to than a printed logo wall — and the high refresh rate keeps it clean in every shot.
Start With One, Scale to a Wall
A single display handles most signage jobs. When you need more presence, panels join side by side with quick-lock splicing to build a wider canvas — so the same rental scales from a quiet welcome sign at the door to a full backdrop behind a stage.
That flexibility is the point. You're not committing to one screen size months out and hoping the room cooperates. Tell us the space and what it needs to do, and we'll spec how many panels it takes. If you need something larger or built into the room's architecture, our LED video walls pick up where the posters leave off.
Setup Nobody Has to Manage
Each unit rolls in on built-in wheels and runs plug-and-play. Content loads over the mobile app, a USB drive, WiFi, or a network cable, so updating a screen mid-event doesn't mean rebuilding anything. Our team handles delivery, setup, content loading, and breakdown as part of your AV production.
The panels are GOB-protected — anti-scratch, impact-resistant, and splash-resistant on an aviation-grade aluminum frame. That matters on a trade show floor where people set drinks down and roll cases past your booth all day.
Pairs Well With
- LED video walls for the main stage, with poster displays handling the perimeter
- AV production and staging so screens, sound, and stage run through one team
- Uplighting to tie the room's color to what's on screen
- Our Glambot or a photo booth beside a branded panel for a capture moment
- The LED Party Robot when the event turns from program to party
Why Clients Use Them
Pitch matters more for signage than for a stage screen, because people walk right up to a sign. At 2.5mm the text stays clean from a few feet away instead of turning into dots.
A ≥3840Hz refresh rate means no scan lines or flicker when your photographer or videographer shoots it. Your signage won't ruin the shot — it'll be in it.
Open it flat for one big canvas, or fold it and run different content on each face. In a trade show aisle that means you're talking to traffic coming from both directions.
A printed sign says one thing all night. These change on cue — welcome, then sponsors, then the award winner, then the after-party details. No reprints when a detail changes.
Quick-lock splicing joins panels into a wider display, so you scale the setup to the room instead of committing to one screen size months out.
GOB-protected surface — anti-scratch, impact-resistant, splash-resistant — on an aviation-grade aluminum frame with built-in wheels. It survives a busy floor and rolls where you need it.
